PocketTools provides everyday utilities including calculators, unit conversion, date and time calculations, text tools, QR code generation, image and document utilities, ZIP creation, and history features.
01 Information You Provide
PocketTools does not require you to create an account to use its core utility features.
Information you enter may include:
- Values entered into calculators
- Unit conversion values
- Dates used in date and age calculations
- Text entered into text utilities
- Content used to generate QR codes
- Files or images selected for supported utilities
This information is used to perform the specific operation requested by you.
02 Calculator & Conversion Data
Calculator inputs, conversion values, GST calculations, EMI calculations, discounts, tips, bill-splitting values, and similar information are processed to provide the corresponding results.
Depending on the App version and feature, calculation and conversion history may be stored locally on your device so that you can review previous results.
03 Text Tools
Text entered into PocketTools may be processed by features such as word counting, character counting, case conversion, text cleaning, duplicate removal, Base64 encoding, and Base64 decoding.
Text is used to provide the feature you request. The App does not require an account to use these tools.
04 QR Code Generator
PocketTools allows you to generate QR codes from supported content, including text, website URLs, Wi-Fi information, contact information, and UPI payment requests.
The information used to create a QR code is provided by you and is processed to generate the requested QR image.
If you choose to share a generated QR code, Android's sharing functionality may provide the image to the application or service you select.
05 Files & Images
Some PocketTools features allow you to select images or other files for operations such as image-to-PDF conversion, image compression, and ZIP archive creation.
The App accesses files when you choose them for a supported feature. Where supported by Android, the system file picker may be used so that you can select the specific files you want the App to access.
Files may be temporarily processed by the App to complete the requested operation and may be saved according to the feature and your chosen output location.
06 Image to PDF & Compression
Images selected by you may be processed to create PDF documents or compressed image files.
These features require access to the images you explicitly select. The App does not need access to unrelated images for the requested operation.
07 ZIP Archive Creation
When you use the ZIP utility, files selected by you may be processed to create a ZIP archive.
The resulting archive is handled according to the save or sharing option you choose.
08 Permissions
PocketTools may request Android permissions only when required by a particular feature implemented in the App.
File-related features may use Android's supported file-selection mechanisms to allow you to choose files or images. Other permissions, if present, are used only for the features that require them.
You can review or manage available permissions through your Android device settings.
09 Local History & Settings
PocketTools may store certain information locally on your device, such as calculation history, conversion history, pinned utilities, or application preferences, depending on the features available in your version of the App.
You can use the available controls within the App to clear supported history and saved information.
10 Internet & Online Services
PocketTools is designed around utility features that can operate locally. However, data-handling behavior may depend on any third-party services, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or online features included in a particular version.
If such services are included, they may process certain technical, diagnostic, advertising, or usage information according to their respective privacy policies.

We take reasonable measures appropriate to the App's design to protect information handled by PocketTools.
However, no electronic storage method or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should also protect your device and any files created or exported through the App.
15 Data Retention & Deletion
Information stored locally by PocketTools may remain on your device until you delete it using available App controls, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App.
Files exported or saved outside the App are controlled by you and may remain on your device or another storage location until you delete them.
16 Children's Privacy
PocketTools is not specifically directed toward children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children for the purpose of creating user accounts.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so that we can review the matter.
17 Third-Party Applications
PocketTools may interact with Android system features or other applications when you choose actions such as sharing a QR code, opening a file, saving a document, or sharing generated content.
