- Storage Access: To save scanned files (PDFs/images) locally on your device.
- Optional Information: Permissions for file sharing via Email, WhatsApp, Google Drive when you choose to use these features.
- Non-Personal Data: Device type, OS, app version, and crash logs for performance improvement.
All scans remain on your device unless you choose to share them. We do not store personal documents or images on our servers.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide core features: scanning, cropping, filters, OCR, and saving files.
- Improve app performance and fix bugs.
- Enhance user experience through updates.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data for advertising or marketing.
3. Data Storage & Security
- Scanned files are saved locally on your device.
- Files shared via cloud services are sent securely; Scanity does not retain copies.
- Technical data (e.g., crash reports) is secured using industry-standard practices.

We may use trusted third-party tools like Google Play Services, Analytics, or Crashlytics to improve app functionality. They collect basic technical data according to their own privacy policies.

- Disable camera/storage permissions (some features may not work).
- Delete all scanned files anytime from your device.
- Uninstall the app to stop all data collection.

Scanity is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
