2. Usage Access Permission

This permission is required for the App's core screen time tracking functionality.

ScreenTime uses this access only to provide features such as screen time statistics, application usage reports, usage history, and personal usage limits.

ScreenTime does not use Usage Access to read the contents of your messages, emails, photographs, passwords, or private content inside other applications.

3. How We Use Information

Information accessed by ScreenTime may be used to:

• Calculate total daily screen time.
• Display application-wise usage statistics.
• Show daily, weekly, and monthly usage trends.
• Track application launch counts.
• Provide personal app usage limits.

ScreenTime does not use screen time information for behavioral profiling or automated decision-making.

4. Data Storage

The App does not require you to create an account or provide an email address to use its core functionality.

Local application data can be removed by clearing the App's storage through Android Settings or by uninstalling the App.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

ScreenTime does not intentionally upload your screen time statistics or application usage history to our servers.

Information may only be disclosed when required by applicable law, legal process, or when necessary to protect our legal rights.

6. Third-Party Services

ScreenTime does not require third-party services for its core screen time tracking functionality.

If third-party services are introduced in future versions, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what information those services may access and how that information is handled.

7. No Account Required

ScreenTime does not require registration, login, or account creation to use its main features.

You can use the App without providing your name, phone number, email address, or other directly identifying information.

8. Information We Do Not Access

ScreenTime does not require access to the following information for its core screen time functionality:

• SMS or MMS messages
• Phone call contents
• Contacts
• Photos or videos
• Microphone recordings
• Camera data
• Passwords
• Content inside third-party applications

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by the App against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or misuse.

Because usage information is primarily stored locally on your device, its security also depends on the security features provided by your Android device.

We recommend keeping your Android device updated and using a secure screen lock.

10. Data Deletion

Since ScreenTime stores usage information locally, you can remove locally stored App data by:

• Clearing the App's data through Android Settings.
• Uninstalling the ScreenTime application.

You can also revoke Usage Access permission at any time through your Android device settings.

Revoking Usage Access may prevent ScreenTime from displaying accurate screen time and application usage statistics.

11. Children's Privacy

ScreenTime is a general-purpose digital wellbeing application.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so that appropriate action can be taken.

12. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable privacy laws, you may have certain rights regarding your information, including:

Since most ScreenTime information is stored locally, you can control and remove it directly from your device.

Information stored locally by ScreenTime remains on your device until it is deleted by you, the App data is cleared, or the App is uninstalled.
