Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 2026This Privacy Policy explains how TextKit: Everyday Text Tools ("TextKit", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the application.
TextKit provides tools for cleaning, formatting, analyzing, comparing, extracting, converting, and exporting text.
Depending on the features you use, you may enter or select:
TextKit uses the content you provide to perform the specific operation you select, such as formatting, counting, comparison, extraction, encoding, decoding, or conversion.
The App does not require an account to use its core text tools. Information entered into a tool is used for the requested operation and may remain available within the App only when a feature you use requires local saving or when you explicitly bookmark a result.
TextKit provides selective history/bookmark functionality. Results may be stored when you explicitly choose to bookmark or save them.
You can manage or remove saved content using the available controls within the App.
Some features allow you to select files or images from your device, including QR code scanning from images or screenshots.
TextKit accesses files or images only as required for the feature you choose and according to the permissions or system file-picker controls provided by Android.
When you use Android's system file picker or photo selection interface, the operating system controls the files that you make available to the App.
TextKit may create files such as:
Exported files are saved or shared according to the action you choose and the storage or sharing options available on your Android device.
TextKit requests access only when a particular feature requires it. Depending on the version of the App and the features enabled, permissions may include access to selected files or images.
Android's permission system allows you to grant or deny applicable permissions. Some features may not work if the required permission or file access is not provided.
The core functionality of TextKit is designed around the text and files you choose to process. If a future version includes online services, advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or other third-party SDKs, those services may process limited technical or usage information according to their respective privacy policies.
Any third-party service used by the App will be subject to the applicable terms and privacy practices of that provider.
If advertisements are displayed in the App, advertising providers may collect or process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, or ad interaction information, depending on the provider and applicable settings.
If advertising is not enabled in a particular version of TextKit, this section does not imply that advertising is currently present.
If analytics or crash-reporting services are integrated into a version of TextKit, they may collect technical information such as device type, operating system version, application version, crash information, and diagnostic data.
Such information is used to understand application performance, identify technical problems, and improve the App.
We do not sell your personal information.
Information may be shared with service providers only when reasonably necessary to provide an enabled feature, maintain the application, provide advertising, analyze performance, or comply with applicable legal requirements.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Text entered into a tool is generally used for the requested operation. Information that you explicitly save or bookmark may remain available until you delete it or remove the application data.
Files exported to your device are controlled by you through your device's storage and file-management features.
TextKit is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of creating user profiles or accounts.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so that the matter can be reviewed.
Depending on your device and the version of the App, you may be able to:
TextKit may allow you to share or open content using other applications or services. Once you leave TextKit, the privacy practices of the other application or service will apply.
